You all know how I adore my family and they are great subjects to take pictures of. Here are some pictures from our celebration of Easter this year. Sometimes we may be a dysfunctional family, but its my dysfunctional family and I love them. There may be a few of my nieces, but its just because they are so darn cute! Enjoy the shots!

Father... the handyman
Here is a tribute to dear old dad... a little late but better than never! I don't have a ton of pictures of him because he is another person who is behind the camera often as well. Here is what I found. I also want to say how grateful I am to have a dad that teaches me the things I need to know about my car :)

Dear Mom
This is a tribute to a mom that is amazing, beautiful, exquisite, loving, caring and the shoulder I can lean on. She is the best (yes, I have to say that because she's my mom). I couldn't be happier that God made her my mom. Now that that is out of the way I'd like to take this moment to say I think at some point I deserve breakfast in bed. Happy Mothers Day!!

Treking along :)
For the past three years I have volunteered for the BC Lung Trek for Life and Breath. Here I have put up the pictures from 2010. It's one thing that I look forward to every year because it is full of fun and friends and laughs. Nothing could be better than this weekend. There were points where standing around and waiting for the bike riders to come by was boring. This is where my camera came in handy! The last one I took as a continuous shot and then I compiled them together to make something that I think is fantastic!! So enjoy the life and times of the bikers!

I found myself in Wonderland
This is our adventure to Aldergrove Lake Park. It was a slightly sunny day and we thought we should probably get outside. In the pictures Courtney, my best friend, is featured. For her benefit I only put the good pictures up... sometimes she may disagree. Her umbrella was a great prop even when she was just holding it. Props prove to be very useful for picking a focal point in some pictures and they have the ability to make or break the photo. Enjoy our journey into Wonderland. :)

Boredom the Inspiration of Creativity
Harrison is such an incredible place to look around and discover. When you have about 8 hours to kill all by yourself it is also a good place to take pictures and absorb everything it has to offer. I went with my parents camping just for a weekend. They ended up going to a wedding on the Saturday therefore my boredness. It turned out to be productive! Yes there are a few pictures of people I don't know but that doesn't make me a stalker, just a curious photographer. Enjoy the blissfulness!
